Manic Monday

I had a lot of time to relax on the weekend. Now I just feel bored at work....maybe I'll go shop at Nordie's. Shopping always lifts my spirits! What about you? It also worked for Marie Antoinette, but it got her in trouble too...

California Storm

Yesterday I had the day off from work since I have to work this Saturday, so I got up early and went to the gym and went to Marshalls to look around. When I left Marshalls it just started to pour cats and dogs! Luckily I had my umbrella handy. I was planning on going home and eat lunch then I was going to the movies by myself to see "Leap Year" starring Amy Adams. I like her she seems like a sweetheart. So anyway I turn on the news and they issued a Tornado Alert! I didn't believe it cause the news always exajerrates things! But then they showed the beach areas and Orange county how windy it was I was starting to get freaked out! I went out to my backyard and it was flooding! Next to my garage it was about ankle deep! I had to remove the mulch that was clogging the drain then it started to go down. Thank goodness! Our garage would have flooded. Here are some pictures of how strong the storm was.

A new yummy discovery!

It is now to my knowledge that there is such thing as The Hershey Hotel. Yes, the same folks who made those yummy chocolates we know and love. It is in none other than Hershey, Pennsylvannia! It seems like a very luxorious hotel. They have a Chocolate Spa too!

Need to keep up with NY's resolutions!

We are already at the middle of the month and I find myself being reminded about my New Years resolutions! What were they again? Let's see...work out, stay close to family and friends and be kinder to all. I'll do my best!

I am still sore from my ski lessons! Wow it really works out your entire body! Tomorrow I am going to the gym no matter what!

Ski trip

I had a really nice weekend up in Big Bear! I took some ski lessons.  Boy my first day did not go so good...I think it was because I felt so akward in my gear. It took a lot to get used to. Then I showed up late to class cause I got lost, then I forgot my waiver form and had to walk all the way to my locker to get it. So by the time I came back I missed a lot of info.

However, the next day I decided to try and take another class earlier and it was much smaller and the instructor was awesome! I had a blast learning, I did pretty well except for getting of the ski lifts! I ate it everytime! I just panic I guess!

Feeling better! Finally!

I am feeling a lot better today than I have been these last couple of weeks. I have more energy and I'm more focused. I haven't worked out still though. I'll get back on it soon, no worries!

Give a day, get a day.

I signed up for Disney's give a day, get a day program today. I've always wanted to volunteer so now I have a great reason to, Disney free ticket of course! I signed up for March. Everything is filling up fast that I wanted or it conflicted with my schedule. So I'm happy with cleaning up Seal Beach. It's such a nice beach, it's a shame that people leave so much trash there. Plus the San Gabriel River doesn't help that it gets dumped in the Long Beach harbor. I hope I don't find a couch or a mattress there!

Need to get back in the Groove!

With all of the days I had off from work with the holiday's and all, my sleeping pattern and my workout schedule is totally thrown off. So I should really get with it and go to bed earlier tonight. I haven't been able to make it to the gym since the day after X-mas. I messed up my back somehow. I think I over did it on the last workout? Oh well I'll keep on trying. Isn't this a cute doll! I love it!

2010

Well the new year is here and I can't wait for the ride! What can possibly be in store for this year for me? Dunno...? All's I know is that it's going to be great!

Yesterday I went to lunch at Mimi's Cafe and to the movies with mom. It was nice to spend the day together. Oh and we also went to Forever 21 and their clothes ares so damn cute! I can squeeze into some of their large stuff. I got a cute cardigan there.
